Dear Chinatown

Dear Chinatown is a magazine made as a visual love letter to Chinatown NYC. Many people visit Chinatown to have a certain experience driven by the uniqueness of Chinese American culture. Whether it be for food or shopping for cheap souvenirs, people come to Chinatown to escape into what feels like a foreign land. Among the smells and layered chaos is a deeply connected community. A neighborhood that's a safe haven for both culture and language.

Da Hiphop Raskalz

A reimagined vinyl record and album sleeve design for Dave Soldier's Da Hiphop Rascalz. The album was released in 2006 and features 5-10 year olds from East Harlem experimenting with music and sound.

The design is reflective of the fun elements that are shown through the raw creativity that only children can bring out.

Neurotransmitters

A trifold teaching you about the different chemicals our brains uses to send messages and signals throughout the body. When I was younger, I had an MRI scan of my head because I was having painful migraines. After the scan, the doctor prescribed me antidepressants and told me I had a chemical imbalance in my head. Ever since then I've been intrigued about the roles different neurotransmitters play and their effects on mental illness.
